Sausage Egg and Cheese Breakfast sandwiches

Home made English Muffins make really awesome breakfast sandwiches. I used a mild sausage, eggs from free range chickens on my farm, and sharp cheddar cheese. Andy was very happy with this mornings breakfast! I will tweak the muffin recipe and possibly try a few others, till I get it to be exactly like I want it in the future. Sounds like I will have to make more of these, since my son saw them and wants some for when he is home for spring break next week! He's pretty spoiled and I will probably make him pizza, pizza pockets, muffins, and whatever I can to make his visit home a good one! I can even make it all with whole wheat, since he prefers the taste of ww breads. It's going to be a busy week for me....

  1. Omg I'm drooling just looking at those beautifull breakfast muffin sandwiches!!When we lived on LI,NY, the area was farm zoned and we had chickens for a couple years. The eggs were soo much better than store bought.
Mine are out of the oven now and cooling.Plan on a southern version of eggs benedict for Sunday breakfast,(crab cake instead of the ham),with poached egggs and cheese sauce..Yummy.

  2. That sounds really good too! Can hardly wait to see a picture of and instructions on how you to make the crab cake etc. BTW, there is nothing better than egg from free range chickens! They taste so different and are so much better for you.

  3. Love spoilin' kids with food? Me too! These freeze well and reheat quickly in the microwave for "food on the go." I'll have to make these again!

  4. Your's looked really good Frieda, as always I love to look on your blog for tips and tricks for these BBA recipes. Your group really had some nice blogging going on for your challenge, and it has helped and given me a bunch of good ideas!

  5. Those look fantastic. I'd eat one of those for dinner, never mind for breakfast!
