Living in the mountains

From Fish

A few days ago I woke up to about 6 inches of snow everywhere I could see. You just never know what to expect living in the mountains. The first year we lived here we went to watch fireworks on the 4th of July, and it snowed on us! We hadn't been here even 2 weeks, so it was an interesting introduction to Eastern Oregon.

  2. That is definitely the bright side of the yucky weather. That snow actually melted away within 48 hours. It's like it never happened!

    Happy baking Frieda!

  4. I grew up in Puget Sound area, and when I first married I lived in Sacramento for 14 years, and really got used to nice weather. The last 11 years we have lived in the mountains though, and I am still getting used to it. Ready for summer...
